Overview
A 2 pack of compact 1.32 lb ABC dry chemical fire sprays with a listed range up to 13 feet, built for kitchen grease, electrical, vehicle and garage fires.
This is a dry chemical formula rather than the water-based sprays common elsewhere in this category, which the listing positions as stronger against electrical and lithium battery fires than a water-based alternative. At 1.32 lb each, these are meant as a grab-and-go pair for tight spaces, an engine bay, a food truck, a golf cart, rather than one larger household unit.
- 2 pack, 1.32 lb ABC dry chemical each
- Up to 13 foot listed spray range
- Built for vehicle, garage and kitchen grease fires
- Leak-resistant housing for vehicle storage
Who it's for
Suits someone who wants two small dry chemical units spread across a car, garage or small business space where a full-size steel extinguisher will not fit. Less suited to anyone who wants one extinguisher with a larger chemical charge for a bigger room.
Pros and cons
- Dry chemical formula for electrical and lithium battery fires
- Compact 1.32 lb size fits tight spaces like engine bays
- Listed spray range up to 13 feet
- Leak-resistant build for vehicle storage
- Small 1.32 lb charge per unit limits total suppression time
- Dry chemical residue needs cleanup after use, unlike a water-based spray
Performance notes
The dry chemical formula forms a flame-retardant layer over the fire source, which the listing describes as more effective against electrical and lithium battery fires than a water-based spray, with a stated range of up to 13 feet. The housing is built to resist leaking under vehicle vibration, which matters for a unit meant to live in a car or boat rather than sit on a shelf.
