Overview
An IPS panel running at a high refresh rate gives the MSI PRO monitor smooth motion and wide viewing angles for both spreadsheets and casual games. FreeSync matches refresh to the graphics card, and flicker free, low blue light backlighting eases long sessions.
Smooth motion plus eye comfort features suit people who work and game at the same desk. Inputs are limited to HDMI and VGA, and the stand only tilts.
Who it's for
Home office workers and casual gamers get a fast, comfortable full HD screen. Users with DisplayPort only graphics cards or who need height adjustment should look further.
Pros and cons
- High refresh IPS panel
- Flicker free and low blue light
- VGA for older PCs
- VESA mount for arms
- Tilt only stand
- Single HDMI input
Performance notes
Smooth motion comes from the high refresh rate, with FreeSync syncing frames to the GPU to remove tearing. Reaching that refresh needs an HDMI source and cable that support it, since the VGA port is for legacy use.
