Our verdict

Overview

A 7-pound bundle (two 3.5-pound bags) of non-clumping zeolite litter pellets made for refilling double-layer sifting litter boxes. Made from natural zeolite minerals and clay, unscented.

This is a refill product built specifically for sifting-style litter boxes with a pellet layer on top and an absorbent layer below, so it is not a drop-in replacement for standard clumping litter. Zeolite is a mineral known for absorbing odor at the molecular level rather than through fragrance, which fits the unscented formulation here.

7 pound bundle split into two 3.5 pound bags
Made from natural zeolite minerals and clay, about 80 percent zeolite
Built for double-layer sifting litter box systems
Unscented formula, 2 year manufacturer warranty

Who it's for

Owners who already run a double-layer sifting litter box and need pellet refills, particularly those sensitive to scented litter or dust. Not the product to buy if you use a standard single-layer box or want traditional clumping litter.

Pros and cons

Pros

Unscented, so no added fragrance masking odor
Sized as two 3.5 pound bags for easy handling
Backed by a 2 year manufacturer warranty

Cons

Only works with double-layer sifting litter boxes
Non-clumping, so not usable in standard single-layer boxes

Performance notes

The pellets are made from roughly 80 percent natural zeolite minerals combined with clay, a combination the listing credits with odor control through mineral absorption rather than clumping. Because the formula is non-clumping, it is meant to sit as the top layer in a sifting box while a separate absorbent layer below the sifting screen handles moisture, matching the two-bag, 3.5-pound bundling included here.
