Overview
A -12 drop T-ball bat from Rawlings built for players age 7 and under, with a 2 1/4 inch barrel and one-piece alloy construction.
This is an entry-level bat scaled for the smallest players just starting the game, with a light swing weight meant to make contact easier before kids move up to coach-pitch or kid-pitch bats. It carries USA Baseball certification, but only for use with certified tee balls, not live pitching in older divisions.
- -12 drop weight for beginners
- 2 1/4 inch barrel
- One-piece alloy construction
- USA Baseball certified for tee ball
Who it's for
Built for beginner T-ball players age 7 and under. Not intended for older youth divisions that require different drop weights or bat certifications.
Pros and cons
- Sized and weighted for players age 7 and under
- USA Baseball certified for tee ball use
- Durable one-piece alloy construction
- Certification applies only to certified tee balls, not other divisions
- Will be outgrown as players move to coach-pitch
Performance notes
The one-piece alloy build keeps the bat simple and durable for repeated tee swings, and the -12 drop (length to weight ratio) is light enough for small players to control. The 2 1/4 inch barrel matches standard T-ball bat sizing.
