Overview
A 100% cotton queen duvet cover built as a dust mite and allergen barrier, with a tight weave, Microban antimicrobial treatment and a hidden zipper closure. It suits allergy sensitive sleepers layering it under or as a cover for a comforter.
The dense cotton weave is rated at pore sizes of 10 microns or less, which is the mechanism behind its dust mite claim rather than a chemical treatment alone. Microban's antimicrobial finish is EPA registered and aimed at odor-causing bacteria, and the brand states it survives machine washing without losing that property.
- Queen size at 90 by 90 inches
- OEKO-TEX certified cotton
- 8 interior corner ties
- Hidden zipper with double-layer protection
Who it's for
Fits anyone dealing with dust mite or bed bug allergy concerns who wants a protective layer under a decorative cover, or a simple white cotton duvet cover on its own.
Pros and cons
- Tight cotton weave rated to block dust mites down to 10 microns
- Microban antimicrobial treatment, EPA registered
- Hidden zipper closure with an anti-mite lining
- Machine washable and OEKO-TEX certified
Performance notes
The dust mite barrier depends on weave density rather than a surface spray, so it is the tight 10 micron or smaller pore size doing the blocking, backed by an anti-mite lining for a second layer. Microban's antimicrobial treatment targets odor causing bacteria and is stated to hold up through machine washing and low temperature drying.
