Overview
TABU sells this set as two compact machines, an 18 lb full-automatic washer and a separate 2.6 cu. ft. dryer, both built around stainless steel inner tubs for apartments or small spaces without full-size laundry hookups.
This is two separate compact machines sold together rather than a single combo unit that washes and dries in one drum, so each does one job the way a standalone compact washer and standalone compact dryer would. The washer's automatic balance detection is meant to cut down on the shaking loose loads can cause in small-tub machines.
- 18 lb washer, 2.6 cu. ft. dryer, both stainless steel tubs
- 10 washing programs, 8 water levels
- 4 dryer modes including auto and delicates
- 850W dryer motor, 10 lb dry capacity
Who it's for
Suits apartment or small-space living where a full-size washer and dryer will not fit, and where 18 lbs of wash capacity and a 10 lb dry capacity cover typical loads. Not intended for households doing large family-sized laundry loads regularly.
Pros and cons
- Two separate machines, not a single all-in-one drum
- At least one buyer received a dryer with a shipping dent
- Replacement lint filter sourcing is unclear to at least one owner
Performance notes
The washer offers 10 programs and 8 water levels with automatic balance detection to reduce vibration from an uneven load, while the dryer runs 850W across 4 modes: auto humidity sensing, delicates, cool air-dry, and manual timer settings up to 90 minutes. One reviewer confirmed the washer gets clothes clean and the dryer works well, though asked where to source replacement lint filters, suggesting they are not obviously included or labeled.
