Overview
Halo Collar 5 is a GPS dog fence and tracking collar that uses app controlled virtual boundaries instead of physical fencing, sold here in Orchid with a one size fit.
The system pairs real time GPS tracking with adjustable, app defined boundaries, aimed at keeping a dog contained without installed fence wire. The box includes contact tips, the collar unit, a Halo Pro case, a magnetic charger, and a Perfect Fit kit, backed by a 1 year warranty.
- App controlled virtual boundaries
- Real time GPS tracking
- Includes charger, case, and fit kit
- 1 year warranty
Who it's for
Owners who want boundary containment and location tracking without installing a physical or buried fence, across small, medium, or large dogs. Households wanting a simple bark or remote correction collar without GPS features would be better served by a dedicated training collar.
Pros and cons
- No physical fence installation needed
- Real time GPS tracking
- 1 year warranty included
- Adjustable fit across breed sizes
- 3.8 average rating, lower than comparable listings here
- Relies on app and GPS signal to function
Performance notes
Containment relies on GPS positioning against boundaries set in the companion app rather than a buried wire, and real time tracking runs alongside that for locating the dog.
