Overview
On mixed floors where rugs sit next to hardwood, the MOVA roller robot lifts its mop and drops a shield over carpets to keep them dry. A rolling mop sprays fresh water continuously and separates dirty water as it goes.
Continuous fresh water mopping is the reason to buy, since the roller is not pushing dirty water around. Spec errors in the listing, like the filter name and dimensions, make some figures hard to trust.
Who it's for
Pet owners and busy families with mixed flooring will gain from the carpet shield and roller. Small apartments may struggle to fit the station.
Pros and cons
- Fresh water roller mopping
- Carpet shield holds rugs dry
- Long battery life
- Hot water mop washing
- Heavy unit and dock
- Some listed specs look wrong
- Dust bags need replacing
Performance notes
Mop cleanliness comes from spraying fresh water onto the roller and pulling dirty water away in real time. Carpet detection triggers the mop lift and shield so rugs stay dry. Suction and the anti-tangle brush handle hair and debris on carpets.
