Overview
Tapping and scrolling on the Acer Aspire Go's Full HD touchscreen makes browsing and schoolwork easy, while a Ryzen processor and NVMe SSD keep everyday apps responsive and a noise-reducing webcam and mics help calls.
A touch screen and an SSD for basic family computing are the reason to buy it. With memory soldered at a modest amount, it slows when many apps run together.
Who it's for
Suited to homework, video calls, streaming and email. Power users and gamers will outgrow the fixed memory and integrated graphics.
Pros and cons
- Touchscreen Full HD display
- Fast NVMe SSD
- Noise-reducing mics for calls
- Protective sleeve included
- Memory fixed, not upgradeable
- Short listed battery life
- Integrated graphics only
Performance notes
Onboard memory is fast but cannot be added to, so heavy multitasking spills over to the SSD and slows down. The larger fan helps sustain speed during long sessions.
