Overview
Printing shipping labels from a phone app or a computer, this Rongta direct thermal printer detects the label size and feeds it automatically. It takes widths up to standard four by six shipping labels.
Bluetooth printing from phones and auto label detection make it quick to set up for small online shops. Intel Mac laptops lack Bluetooth support, and simultaneous jobs from two devices cause conflicts.
Who it's for
Etsy, eBay and small e-commerce sellers printing daily shipping and warehouse labels. Shops that need heavy industrial volume should look at a larger printer.
Pros and cons
- No ink or toner
- Prints from phones and computers
- Automatic label detection
- Wide label width range
- No Bluetooth on Intel Macs
- One device should print at a time
- Labels not included
Performance notes
Print speed and clarity come from the direct thermal head heating the label, so label quality matters for fade resistance. Auto detection sets the feed to the label size, and Bluetooth range governs mobile printing.

Frequently asked questions
Will the Rongta RP425 work with my MacBook?
It works with Mac over USB, but Apple laptops with Intel chips do not support the Bluetooth connection.
Can the Rongta RP425 print from my phone?
Yes. Download the RONGTA app, connect over Bluetooth in the app, tap the plus sign and choose the file to print.
Can two devices print to the Rongta RP425 at once?
Up to 3 devices can stay connected, but printing from a computer and a phone at the same moment causes data conflicts.
