Overview
Kitchens and laundry corners where the cat bowl lives get a timed dry food dispenser from Miaosical that runs from a phone app. Meals drop from a locking-lid container into a removable bowl, and a battery compartment offers backup during short power outages.
Battery backup is the reason to choose it, since meals continue through a brief outage when cells are installed. The feature set is lean: one bowl, dry kibble, scheduling and a recorded call, and the listing mentions no jam alerts or food-level sensors.
Who it's for
Cat owners who work long days get a schedule they can change from their phone, with a fallback if power drops. Owners of cats on wet diets, or who want alerts when kibble jams, should look further.
Pros and cons
- Battery backup for short outages
- Removable bowl and container
- Locking lid helps food stay fresh
- Recorded mealtime call
- Batteries sold separately
- Dry food only
- Hand wash only
- Jam and empty alerts not listed
Performance notes
Portion accuracy depends on using dry kibble within the listed size range. Schedule reliability rests on two power paths: the adapter in normal use, and installed D-cell batteries when the outlet drops. Freshness over several days comes from the locking lid sealing the container.
