Overview
This is a commercial-grade stair climber with 15 resistance levels spanning 15 to 164 steps per minute, an electromagnetic brake system, and pedals rated for climbers up to 375 pounds.
One reviewer's door opening was too narrow for the crated unit, so measuring doorway width before ordering is worth doing. A puzzle-piece floor mat ships with it.
- 15 resistance levels, 15-164 steps per minute
- 375 lb rated capacity, 408 lb unit weight
- 8 preset programs plus heart rate tracking
- Ships 90 percent pre-assembled in a wooden crate
Who it's for
Suits buyers with a dedicated home gym space and the help on hand to move a 400-plus pound crate, who want a stair machine close to commercial gym equipment without the commercial price. Less suited to anyone in an apartment with narrow doorways or no way to handle freight delivery.
Pros and cons
- Feels comparable to gym machines costing far more
- 375 lb rated capacity
- Quiet enough to watch TV while stepping
- Delivery crew can bring the crate to your garage
- Weighs 408 lbs, hard to move solo
- Handlebar grips are thin for larger hands
- Level control jumped unexpectedly for one reviewer
