Overview
Double-sided heating under a one-button control warms the full grip of each THAW mini warmer, powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. A built-in LED light can run at the same time as the heat, and the impact-resistant plastic shell slips into a pocket.
Warmth on both faces matters when your fingers wrap around the device, and it recharges over USB-C, so there are no single-use packets to replace. Heat settings are not described, so you cannot dial it down for milder days.
Who it's for
Cold mornings on the water, in a blind or at camp are where these earn their place, with one warmer for each hand. People wanting several heat settings should look for a model that lists them.
Pros and cons
- Heats both sides of the grip
- Rechargeable over USB-C
- Built-in LED light works with heat
- Impact-resistant plastic body
- Heat settings, charge time and size not listed
- Runtime may fall short on all-day outings
- Plastic shell, no fabric cover mentioned
Performance notes
Run time depends on how long the heat stays on and how cold the air is, since a lithium-ion cell gives up charge faster in the cold and the LED runs from the same battery. Double-sided output spreads warmth across palm and fingers instead of one face.
