Overview
Despite the category label, the title and construction point to a bait trap rather than a bag.
Foldable mesh traps like this fold flat for storage or transport and pop open for use, a common design for crawfish and small baitfish traps sold in pairs. At 17.7 by 8.7 inches these are on the compact side, sized for placing along banks or shallow water rather than deep trapping.
- 2-pack of foldable bait traps
- Nylon mesh and plastic construction
- Sized 17.7 x 8.7 inches
Who it's for
Anglers who want two compact, foldable traps for catching crawfish or bait fish in shallow water. Less suited to anyone needing a large-capacity trap or targeting bigger catches.
Pros and cons
- 2 traps included per purchase
- Foldable design for compact storage
- No review text available to explain the rating
- Compact size may limit catch volume
Performance notes
A foldable mesh trap relies on netting that stays taut enough to hold bait or catch inside once it's dropped, with the nylon mesh and plastic frame combination determining how well it resists tangling and collapsing in current. At 17.7 by 8.7 inches, these traps suit shallow placement rather than deep or fast-moving water, though the listing doesn't specify a weight capacity.
