Overview
Hunting blinds and range benches at medium distances suit the Monstrum Panzer, a mid power variable scope with a wide objective lens. An adjustable objective clears parallax, and an inline dial brightens the illuminated reticle.
Completeness is the selling point: illumination, parallax adjustment and a one-piece offset mount arrive together. HD glass coating aims at a brighter sight picture. Buyers get no eye relief, length or click value data.
Who it's for
Rifle owners setting up a general hunting or range rifle get a complete optic package. Long-range shooters who range with the reticle at every power should look at a first focal plane scope.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable objective removes parallax
- Illuminated reticle with inline dial
- Offset cantilever mount included
- Wide 40mm objective
- Eye relief not listed
- Second focal plane only
- Mount fit to rail type unstated
Performance notes
Objective size governs how much light reaches the eye, which matters at dawn and dusk. The AO bell sets focus and removes parallax at a given distance. In a second focal plane design the reticle stays the same size as magnification changes.
