Overview
The VASAGLE URMB652BD02S is a full-size steel platform bed frame rated to hold 1,100 pounds across 9 legs and a reinforced center support. Standing 14 inches tall, it skips the box spring and leaves room underneath for bins or seasonal storage.
Rather than screw-on retainers, the mattress sits in twist-lock retainers that VASAGLE says stay put longer than the common screw type. The frame has pre-drilled holes for an optional headboard, which is not included, and the connectors are built to cut down on squeaking.
- 1,100 lb capacity on 9 legs
- 14 inch clearance underneath
- Twist-lock mattress retainers
- Pre-drilled holes for a headboard
Who it's for
Fits someone replacing an old box-spring setup or furnishing an apartment where underbed storage matters. Less suited to anyone who wants a headboard in the box or written, not diagram-only, assembly steps.
Pros and cons
- Solid once assembled correctly
- Quiet, no squeaking reported
- Underbed clearance for storage bins
- No box spring required
- Instructions are diagrams only, no text
- Legs slide on hard flooring
- Occasional missing part or stripped screw
Performance notes
Once assembled, buyers describe it as quiet and solid under normal use, though the steel legs can slide on hardwood or tile without an added grip pad underneath.
