Overview
Thick woods at first light and fields at last light are where the Monstrum Beast is meant to shine. A fiber optic tube channels LED light to a bright center dot, a side dial removes parallax, and the scope arrives on its own one piece cantilever mount.
A daylight bright dot helps fast aiming against dark timber, and the bundled mount and covers make it ready to fit. Second focal plane holdovers and missing eye relief figures limit it for precise long range work.
Who it's for
Deer hunters and shotgun slug shooters get a fast dot reticle with parallax control. Target shooters who rely on detailed holdover marks should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Bright fiber optic center dot
- Side focus parallax adjustment
- Cantilever mount included
- Lens covers in the box
- Eye relief not listed
- Second focal plane reticle
- Mount fit for each rail unstated
Performance notes
Dot brightness comes from light channeled down the fiber, so it stands out in daylight where etched reticles fade. The side focus sets parallax for each distance, which matters more at the higher zoom end. HD lens coatings aid light transmission at dusk.
