Overview
Home millers, spice sellers and small farms get a high speed electric pulverizer that turns dried grains, coffee beans, spices and nuts into powder. It uses a swing type stainless design, and a sieve is supplied for sifting the result.
Raw speed and a large capacity make quick work of hard dry ingredients such as corn and coffee beans. No warranty or duty cycle is listed, so long continuous sessions are an unknown.
Who it's for
Kitchens that process dried corn, cereals, pepper or coffee by the batch will use the speed and capacity. Cooks wanting nut butter or wet masa should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Very high wattage motor
- Large capacity for batch grinding
- Stainless steel construction
- Spare carbon brush set included
- Dry ingredients only
- Warranty terms not listed
- Carbon brushes are a wear part
Performance notes
Fineness is governed by how long the blades spin at high speed and by sifting through the supplied sieve, then regrinding what stays behind. Carbon brushes in the motor wear with use, which is why a replacement set comes in the box.
