Overview
Open pasture, power line cuts and bean field edges call for the extra reach of the Monstrum Beast at its top zoom. An LED feeds a fiber optic tube behind the crosshair for a bright dot, and a side dial clears parallax across the range.
The longer zoom range pairs a bright aiming dot with enough reach for wide fields, and the cantilever mount comes in the box. Holdover marks match at one zoom setting only, and eye relief is not given.
Who it's for
Hunters covering wide openings get higher zoom and parallax control in one package. Those hunting thick cover at short range will rarely use the top end.
Pros and cons
- Higher top zoom for field shots
- Daylight bright fiber optic dot
- Side focus clears parallax
- Cantilever mount and covers included
- Eye relief not listed
- Reticle marks match one zoom only
- Weight not listed
Performance notes
At high zoom, parallax error grows, so the side focus does more work than on lower power scopes. The fiber optic dot stays visible against bright skies because it channels light rather than relying on etching. Lens coatings help at the edges of daylight.
