Overview
ZivPlay sells this black polyester net as a portable pop-up batting cage for baseball and softball. A pitching hole lets a machine feed from outside, and the door is detachable so a live pitcher can throw from the front.
The two practice modes are the reason to consider it: machine feeding through the hole or live pitching with the door off. The listing is thin on frame material, anchoring and net grade, so durability is unconfirmed.
Who it's for
Baseball and softball players who practice at home alone or with a partner will use both set-ups. Teams and heavy daily users should look for a listing that states frame and netting details.
Pros and cons
- Pitching hole for machine practice
- Detachable door for live pitching
- Baseball and softball use
- Frame details not described
- Anchoring not described
- Only the cage is listed as included
Performance notes
Hole and door placement decide whether a machine or a pitcher can feed without an obstruction, and the net stops the ball inside the footprint. Wind and impact resistance depend on the frame and anchors, and those details are missing.
