Overview
A large family room or basement theater is where this Samsung fits, with a huge QLED panel that uses Quantum Dot color over an LED backlight. Vision AI processing adjusts the picture as you watch, and the bundle adds a cable, streaming extras and a protection plan.
Screen size is the reason to buy, giving a theater-scale image without a projector or a dark room. Black depth depends on an LED backlight, so night scenes will not look as deep as on a self-lit panel.
Who it's for
Sports fans and families watching in a lit room get a huge picture that stays bright. Film fans who watch with the lights off may prefer a self-lit panel, and anyone with a short wall should measure first.
Pros and cons
- Very large screen for big rooms
- Quantum Dot color with bright output
- Motion Xcelerator for sports
- Voice control and built-in streaming apps
- Only three HDMI ports listed
- LED backlight, not self-lit pixels
- Peak brightness not listed
- Stand or feet not mentioned
Performance notes
Color comes from a Quantum Dot layer lit by an LED backlight, so brightness is strong but black depth is limited by light passing through the panel. Motion Xcelerator and the high refresh rate smooth fast pans, and AI processing tunes contrast scene by scene.
