Overview
Large living rooms and dedicated home theaters are what this giant Mini LED TV is built for, with very fine local dimming, extreme peak brightness and a wide viewing angle panel. Google TV, AirPlay and Art Mode handle streaming and display when the TV is idle.
Tens of thousands of dimming zones and very high peak brightness deliver deep blacks and bright HDR highlights even in daylight. The scale is the hurdle: it is extremely heavy and needs a strong wall or stand, neither of which is listed in the box.
Who it's for
Home theater owners, sports fans and gamers with big rooms get cinema-scale HDR and fast motion. Apartments with small rooms or light walls should look at a smaller size.
Pros and cons
- Very fine local dimming
- Extreme HDR brightness
- Fast native refresh for gaming
- Bang and Olufsen Atmos audio
- Wall mount not included
- Wireless subwoofer sold separately
Performance notes
Contrast is governed by how many independent dimming zones the backlight has, and the Halo Control System reduces blooming around bright objects on dark backgrounds. Motion clarity comes from the fast native panel plus VRR, which matches refresh to the game's frame rate.
