Overview
This is a set of 2 mid-century modern dining chairs from Dumos, model DU-6209GN-2P, with round upholstered seats in boucle fabric, curved backrests, black metal legs and swivel foot pads in green.
At 275 lbs per chair, this is rated to hold more weight than either of the other dining chairs in this batch, and the listing calls out a 3.94-inch cushion specifically, thicker than what is stated for its nearby competitors.
- Set of 2, round boucle-upholstered seats
- 275 lb weight rating per chair
- 3.94 inch high-density foam cushion
- Black metal legs, swivel foot pads
Who it's for
Suits buyers furnishing a small dining nook, vanity or accent seating area who want a round, upholstered chair rather than a straight-backed dining chair. Less suited to anyone needing a full 4- or 6-chair dining set from one purchase, since this comes as a pair.
Pros and cons
- 275 lb weight rating, higher than typical
- 3.94-inch high-density foam cushion
- Swivel foot pads for uneven floors
- Sold as a pair, not a full dining set
- Boucle fabric may need more careful cleaning
Performance notes
The seat cushion is 3.94 inches of high-density foam, meant to hold its shape rather than compress flat with regular use, and the metal frame has a reinforced inner wall behind the 275 lb rating. Swivel foot pads at the base are designed to stop wobble on uneven floors rather than sit as fixed rubber caps.
