Overview
Plugging the screen into the car and mounting it with the suction cup or adhesive bracket adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto without touching the stereo. A waterproof rear camera and an AUX cable are included.
Choose it for a large add-on screen that brings mirroring, hands-free calling and a camera to an older car. The limits are exclusions for two phone brands, an audio path that stops at the AUX cable and a format field that does not match an HD screen.
Who it's for
A family car owner who wants maps and media on a bigger screen and a reversing camera. Skip it for the excluded phone brands, and for buyers who need a built-in amplifier or speaker output.
Pros and cons
- Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
- Waterproof rear camera included
- AUX cable and car charger included
- Suction and adhesive brackets included
- Huawei and Xiaomi phones not supported
- Audio path beyond AUX is unclear
- Format field reads oddly for the screen
Performance notes
The screen mirrors a compatible phone, with the phone supplying maps and media, and audio leaves through the AUX cable or the outputs it lists. The rear camera feed shows on the display when connected over the long cable. OTA updates are named in the title without detail.
