Overview
Not a ported bass box, this SVS is a sealed subwoofer with a long-throw driver tuned for tight, accurate bass. A DSP monitors power, heat and driver behavior, while auto room EQ shapes output to the space.
Auto room EQ and app control make dialing in bass easier than adjusting knobs on the back panel. The listing does not clearly state input types, which matters when wiring it to a receiver.
Who it's for
Home theater enthusiasts and music listeners who prize tight, fast bass get a sealed design with real-time DSP control. Renters with thin walls should consider something smaller.
Pros and cons
- Sealed cabinet for tight bass
- Long-throw high-output driver
- Automatic room EQ
- Smartphone app control
- Input connections unclear
- Heavy to move
- Floor space required
Performance notes
A sealed cabinet rolls off gently and tracks quickly, which favors accuracy over the extra output a port can add. Room placement and the auto EQ have the biggest effect on in-room response, and the DSP protects the driver at high volume.
