Overview
Miken built the Chaos from alloy in a single piece, using thin walls and Eflex technology for give in the barrel. An XL end-load adds weight toward the end of the barrel, and the grip is a standard size.
The long barrel and end-loaded weight are aimed at a larger sweet spot and extra power through the hitting zone. The listed certification is narrower than the title implies, so league rules should be checked.
Who it's for
Adult recreational and competitive slowpitch players who like a loaded barrel and an alloy build will use it. Hitters who prefer balanced feel, or leagues that need other stamps, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Long barrel for a larger hitting area
- End-loaded for power
- One-piece alloy construction
- Thin walls for barrel flex
- End-loaded, harder to control
- Certification wording differs from the title
- Alloy rather than composite
Performance notes
End-loaded bats put weight toward the barrel, which adds momentum on contact but needs more effort to swing. Thinner alloy walls give the barrel more spring, and the barrel length widens the area for clean contact.
