Overview
BISSELL's CleanWell box automates litter cleaning with a 20-day capacity bin, app control and health monitoring, built into a large plastic housing without a lid.
The OdorVault system is aimed at sealing waste away between cleanings, feeding an extra-large bin the maker rates for up to 20 days before it needs emptying. Health monitoring tracks litter box visits through the app, a feature meant to help owners spot changes in a cat's habits early. Without a lid, the unit favors airflow and visibility over full enclosure.
- OdorVault waste sealing technology
- 20-day XL bin capacity
- App control with health monitoring
- Open, no-lid design
Who it's for
Cat owners wanting an automated box with a long interval between bin changes and habit tracking through an app. Owners who prefer an enclosed, lidded box for privacy or extra odor sealing should look at a different model.
Pros and cons
- 20-day bin capacity reduces how often it needs emptying
- App-based health monitoring tracks visit patterns
- Large capacity suited to busy households
- No lid, unlike many enclosed automatic boxes
- Large footprint, roughly 25 lbs and 21 by 28 inches, needs floor space
Performance notes
The OdorVault system separates and seals waste as it is collected, feeding into an extra-large bin sized for roughly 20 days of use before emptying. App control extends to health monitoring, logging visit frequency so an owner can watch for changes that might signal a health issue.
