Overview
A 91 oz automatic water fountain for cats and dogs built by BISSELL (model 4408), with a wireless pump, SlimeShield coating and 5-layer filtration for quiet operation. Holds about 2.7 liters, plastic construction, black.
BISSELL is better known for cleaning appliances, and this fountain's wireless pump sets it apart from most corded designs on the market, removing the need to route a cord near the water.
- 2.7 liter capacity
- Wireless pump
- 5-layer filtration with SlimeShield coating
- Rated for cats and dogs
Who it's for
Multi-cat or mixed cat-and-dog households wanting a large-capacity fountain without a visible power cord. Not the choice for anyone wanting a compact single-pet unit or a fully covered, hooded design.
Pros and cons
- 91 oz capacity suits multi-pet homes
- Wireless pump means no cord to route
- 5-layer filtration plus SlimeShield anti-buildup coating
- Rated for both cats and dogs
- Plastic construction rather than steel or ceramic
Performance notes
The SlimeShield coating is meant to resist biofilm buildup on the surfaces water touches, while the 5-layer filtration cycles water through the wireless pump before it reaches the drinking area. BISSELL markets the operation as quiet, aimed at pets wary of louder pump noise.
