Overview
A 20x50 waterproof-bodied binocular with a rubber-armored grip, BAK4 porro prism and green FMC coating, aimed at hunters, campers and stargazers who want long-range reach at a budget price.
A few note the true optical power feels closer to a 10x compact than a full 20x when compared side by side, so treat the number as a ceiling rather than a guarantee. The rubber coating and textured grips are built for daily outdoor knocks, though the maker is explicit that the body should not be submerged.
- 20x zoom eyepiece with a stated 168-yard field of view at 1000 yards
- BAK4 porro prism with green FMC anti-reflective coating
- Rubber-armored, water-resistant construction
- Soft-covered center focus wheel for one-finger adjustment
Who it's for
Fits casual campers, travelers and stargazers who want reach without spending on premium glass, and buyers who value Flyant's stated repair-or-replace warranty. Serious birders who wear glasses, or anyone expecting true 20x separation from a compact binocular, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Sharp, clear focus reported at the price point
- Rubber-armored, water-resistant body for outdoor use
- Flyant's stated warranty covers repair, replacement or refund
- Comes with a case and cleaning cloth
