Overview
Hunters and target shooters stepping up from a fixed-power scope get a variable optic that zooms from a wide close view to more detail at range. The adjustable objective removes parallax for sharper focus, and the illuminated reticle helps in low light.
Parallax adjustment and illumination add precision usually missing in basic scopes. Rings in the box make mounting straightforward. The listing omits click value, eye relief, waterproofing and turret travel.
Who it's for
Plinkers, small game hunters and new shooters wanting an all-in-one setup will find it ready to mount. Precision shooters who range with the reticle at any power should choose a first focal plane scope.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable objective removes parallax
- Illuminated reticle for low light
- Rings included in the box
- Wide magnification range
- Objective size listed inconsistently
- Click value not stated
- Eye relief not listed
Performance notes
Turning the adjustable objective focuses the target and removes parallax at the chosen distance. In a second focal plane scope, reticle subtensions are only true at one magnification. Illumination is set by an inline dial, useful at dawn and dusk.
