Overview
The Apec Water PH75X-ROES is an under-sink reverse osmosis filtration system built with polypropylene housings, rated for 75 gallons of capacity. It measures 15.5 by 5.25 by 17.5 inches.
Apec's ROES line is a long-running series of under-sink reverse osmosis systems, and the 75 in the model name lines up with the listed 75 gallon capacity, likely referring to production rate or filter life rather than total lifetime output. Polypropylene housings are common in this category for resisting corrosion compared with metal fittings.

Who it's for
This suits households wanting a dedicated under-sink reverse osmosis setup rather than a countertop or whole-house system. It is not built for anyone without under-sink cabinet space to mount the housings and route a dedicated faucet line.
Pros and cons
- Reverse osmosis filtration for drinking water
- Polypropylene resists corrosion
- Compact enough for under-sink cabinets
- Requires cabinet space and plumbing access
- No stated filter replacement interval
Performance notes
Reverse osmosis systems like this one push water through a membrane under pressure, filtering out dissolved contaminants more thoroughly than a basic carbon filter. The 75 gallon rating marks the system's rated capacity, and polypropylene housings help resist the corrosion that can affect metal fittings over years of sink cabinet use.
