Overview
Wanbo built this Ultra model around Google TV, so streaming apps, live channels and voice search run on the projector itself. A rotating stand aims it at a wall or ceiling, and automatic focus and keystone square the picture.
Setup takes seconds and the stand tilts toward the ceiling for bedtime viewing, with family controls like kids mode built in. Brightness is low for a lit room, so it shines after dark.
Who it's for
Students, kids' rooms and couples watching in bed who want apps, voice search and quick setup in a small box. Bright living rooms and daytime sports need a much brighter projector.
Pros and cons
- Google TV apps built in
- Stand tilts toward the ceiling
- Automatic focus and keystone
- Quiet fan noise
- Low brightness for lit rooms
- LCD engine, not laser
- Only one listed HDMI-type input
Performance notes
Image quality depends on room light, since the brightness fills a large screen only in the dark. The enclosed optical engine stops dust from creating spots over time, and the auto systems refocus whenever the projector is moved.
