Overview
A motorized gimbal, optical zoom and lens shift move the image in this JMGO projector without digital cropping, so it can sit off to the side of a room and still fill the screen. A triple laser engine supplies the light.
Physical lens shift and zoom keep full resolution even in tricky rooms, and the brightness handles daytime viewing. Size and weight make it more of a fixed theater piece than a portable unit.
Who it's for
Home theater builders and console gamers who need placement freedom and brightness for rooms with some light. Buyers wanting something light to move around should choose a compact model.
Pros and cons
- Optical lens shift with no cropping
- Bright enough for daytime viewing
- Very low gaming latency
- Dolby Vision support
- Large and heavy unit
- Only 1-year warranty listed
- Box contents are basic
Performance notes
Placement flexibility comes from the lens shift and optical zoom moving the image optically, so pixels are not lost to digital keystone. The triple laser and ambient light sensor adjust output to the room, and VRR with high refresh rates smooths console and PC games.
