Overview
Not a plastic colander, the KLYGOBSR rice washer is a stainless steel strainer bowl set for rinsing grains and draining washed produce. The listing names the material and finish but leaves the parts and sizes unstated.
Stainless steel is the reason to look at it, since metal handles hot rinse water and washes clean easily. Capacity, mesh size and dimensions are all missing, which makes fit in a sink or cabinet a guess.
Who it's for
Home cooks who wash rice, beans or fruit before cooking can use a metal strainer bowl daily. Shoppers who need exact dimensions or a confirmed parts list should look elsewhere, since neither is given.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel body
- Made for rinsing rice and straining
- Plain silver modern styling
- Capacity and dimensions not listed
- Parts in the set are unclear
- Seller gives no feature bullets
- Mesh opening size unknown
Performance notes
Draining speed depends on the size of the strainer holes and how much rice is in the bowl at once. Neither the mesh opening nor the bowl volume is given, so fine grains like quinoa may slip through if the holes are large.
