Overview
The Comfort Bedz Large Cat Cave Tunnel Bed is an enclosed felt donut house with a zip-up opening and a top perch, built for indoor cats and small dogs up to roughly 25 pounds who like to burrow and nap out of sight.
It ships with a hanging pom-pom toy for batting and closes with a zipper, so a cat that likes a private den gets one without losing headroom to a bulky frame. The listing carries only five ratings so far, which is too small a sample to call the fit or durability settled.
- 24 x 24 x 11 inch felt cave with zip closure
- Top perch adds a second level to the bed
- Rated for indoor cats and small dogs to 25 lbs
- Includes an attached pom-pom toy
Who it's for
Best suited to cats that already seek out boxes and tunnels, plus small dogs under the stated weight limit. Cats that prefer open beds or dislike enclosed spaces are unlikely to use the cave at all.
Pros and cons
- Combines an enclosed hideaway with a top perch
- Zipper keeps the shape and closes off drafts
- Includes a pom-pom toy for interactive play
- Hand wash only, not machine washable
- Single size, not sized for larger dogs
Performance notes
The bed is made from felt and polyester and offers two usable levels, the inside tunnel and the flat top surface, which doubles as a perch. Amazon lists it as hand wash only, so it is not a toss-in-the-washer item despite being marketed as washable.
