Overview
Dekala combines a sunrise alarm light, sound machine, Bluetooth speaker, weather display and wireless phone charger in the Arches. You tune light color, brightness and sound through the app to build a gentle wake routine.
Waking to brightening light instead of a harsh beep is the case, with sleep sounds to help you drift off. The charger and speaker save nightstand space. Some features depend on a compatible Wi-Fi band.
Who it's for
Bedrooms, nurseries and meditation corners where soft light and sound help routines. People who just want a plain alarm may find it overbuilt.
Pros and cons
- Gradual sunrise wake
- Many sleep sounds
- Wireless phone charging
- Colorful ambient light
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
- Needs a wall outlet
- Sound volume not stated
Performance notes
A gradual light rise signals the body to wake before the sound alarm, which feels gentler for many sleepers. Sound masking covers outside noise. Wireless charging needs a compatible phone placed correctly on the pad.
