Overview
Monstrum's Banshee HD is a low power variable optic with a true unmagnified setting, a forgiving eye box and new HD lens coatings. Exposed turrets lock by pushing in, and a brighter illumination unit lights the reticle.
Fast close-range use with magnification on tap, plus an included mount, makes it a ready package for a carbine. Many specs, from tube diameter to warranty, are missing.
Who it's for
Home defense, competition and hunting carbine users get a quick optic with locking adjustments. Precision shooters at long distance need higher magnification.
Pros and cons

- Forgiving eye box
- Locking turrets prevent bumps
- Offset mount included
- Tube diameter not listed

Performance notes
Locking turrets stop accidental adjustment, which helps the rifle hold its zero. Lens coatings improve light transmission for a brighter view. Illumination brightness decides how visible the reticle is in daylight.
