Overview
The N-GEN NG2601A is an all-black gaming chair with a reclining backrest from 90 to 135 degrees, linkage armrests that move with the recline, and a retractable footrest. It uses a PU leather cover over high-density foam, a steel frame and a 360-degree swivel base.
N-GEN backs this one with an SGS-certified gas lift, a rust-resistant steel frame and a 1-year warranty, pointing to a chair meant for daily use rather than occasional gaming. Reviewer feedback confirms it holds up for tall users and long sitting sessions, though the seat base runs firmer than some expect straight out of the box.
- 90 to 135 degree reclining backrest
- Linkage armrests move with the recline
- SGS-certified gas lift and steel frame
- 1-year warranty with included tool kit
Who it's for
Works well for taller users and anyone who wants a recline-and-footrest combo for breaks during long desk sessions. Buyers who want a plush, sofa-soft seat cushion from the first sit may want to budget for an add-on cushion, based on reviewer feedback.
Pros and cons
- Reclining backrest plus retractable footrest for breaks
- Responsive customer support for shipping damage
- Head and lumbar pillow straps are visibly external
Performance notes
The backrest reclines from 90 to 135 degrees, and the armrests are linked to move with it so they stay supported through the recline range rather than locking at one angle. Seat height and lumbar cushion position are adjustable, and the base swivels a full 360 degrees on rolling casters. The frame is steel with a rust-resistant coating and an SGS-certified gas lift.
