A reasonable pick for an inflatable 2-4 person spa where energy efficiency and cold-weather freeze protection matter more than jet count or a heated soak for large groups.

Overview
Bestway's SaluSpa Cancun is an inflatable hot tub sized for 2 to 4 people, with 120 bubble jets and an insulated liner and cover meant to hold heat more efficiently than a standard inflatable spa.
The main draw here is the insulation package rather than the jet count: Bestway states the walls and cover cut heat loss by up to 40 percent versus comparable inflatable spas, and the tub meets efficiency rules required for sale in a listed set of states including California, New York and Massachusetts. A freeze shield is meant to protect the pump in cold weather, and a timer lets the water be pre-heated up to 40 days ahead.
- 120 bubble jets for up to 4 people
- Insulation rated up to 40% more efficient than comparable inflatable spas
- Freeze Shield technology for cold-weather protection
- ChemConnect dispenser for automatic chlorine dosing
Who it's for
Fits a household wanting a seasonal, packable spa for a small patio or deck without a permanent hot tub installation. Not the choice for someone who wants year-round use in a genuinely cold climate without extra precautions.
Pros and cons
- Insulated walls and cover aimed at lower running costs
- Freeze shield protects the pump in cold weather
- Power-saving timer can pre-heat water up to 40 days ahead
- ChemConnect dispenser automates chlorine dosing
- Rated for 2 to 4 people, not a larger group spa
- Inflatable construction needs more care than a hard-shell tub
Performance notes
120 bubble jets circulate warm water for a soft massage rather than the stronger, targeted jets of a hard-shell spa. MaxHold fabric internal beams and a 3-layer Tritech outer shell are what Bestway points to for air pressure retention and puncture resistance. The digital control panel heats water up to 104degF, and a ChemConnect dispenser doses chlorine automatically to help keep the water clear.
