Overview
Zomfy's 4x6 shag rug packs a cushioned foam layer under a plush black pile, sized for a bedroom, nursery, or playroom floor. Fits buyers who want a soft, high-pile rug and can allow a short settling period after unboxing.
Zomfy ships this rug vacuum-compressed, so the listing itself warns it arrives with temporary wrinkles and needs a few days flat, or a weighted object on top, before the pile looks fully restored. The 0.35-inch foam layer underneath is pitched mainly as furniture-scratch and noise protection rather than as a plush feature on its own.
- 4x6 feet, black shag pile
- 0.35-inch foam interlayer for cushioning
- Non-slip backing for hard flooring
- Machine washable, cold water cycle
Who it's for
Works for a nursery, kids' room, or bedroom floor where cushioning and a fuzzy feel matter more than easy vacuuming. Not the right pick for anyone who needs a rug that lays flat straight out of the packaging or one built for a high-traffic hallway.
Pros and cons
- High-density plush pile with foam cushioning
- Non-slip backing suited to households with kids or seniors
- Machine washable on a cold cycle
- Arrives compressed and needs days to fully expand
- Foam layer adds thickness that may not suit low-clearance doors or furniture
- No buyer review text available to confirm real-world durability
Performance notes
The listing attributes the cushioned feel to a thick foam interlayer under the plush pile, which the seller also credits for reducing floor noise and protecting flooring under furniture. Because the rug ships compressed for shipping, the fibers need time, or deliberate flattening with weight, to reach their full loft. The non-slip backing is designed to grip flooring directly, and the seller notes it works best kept dry for full effectiveness.
