A hard-sided road trip cooler that arrives bundled with a refreezable ice pack. Usable room inside shrinks once the block goes in, so pack drinks and food with that in mind.

Overview
Not a soft-sided bag, the YETI Roadie is a hard-shell cooler shaped like a box and carried by an adjustable strap. A drain hole lets meltwater out, and this bundle adds a reusable ICE Block that is frozen ahead of time.
Pairing the cooler with a refreezable pack means a trip can start cold without stopping for bagged ice. Shoppers will have to look elsewhere for empty weight, outside dimensions and insulation details, since the listing leaves them out.
Who it's for
Solo travelers and couples heading out on day drives will appreciate a hard box they can sling over a shoulder. Larger groups stocking food for a long weekend should size up.
Pros and cons
- Hard shell box holds its shape
- Refreezable ICE Block pack comes bundled
- Adjustable strap frees hands while walking
- Meltwater empties through a drain hole
- Empty weight and outside dimensions not listed
- Ice pack takes up interior space
- Smaller capacity limits multi-day trips
- Single color option in this listing
Performance notes
Cold retention depends on how much frozen mass goes in, how often the lid opens and how full the box is packed. A pre-frozen ICE Block adds that mass without leaving loose water behind. Pre-chilling the cooler and filling empty air space both help the frozen pack last longer.
