Overview
Fomas's 24-inch tandem is a four-fold, two-seat cruiser with a steel frame, 6-speed rear derailleur, and dual disc brakes, built for two adults riding together rather than solo commuting.
It folds down to a 36.22-inch height for trunk storage and carries a 460 lb rated load across both riders. Front and rear racks with a built-in basket handle water bottles or gear on the way.
- Four-fold frame packs to 36.22in
- 460 lb combined rider capacity
- 6-speed rear derailleur
- Dual disc brakes front and rear
Who it's for
Two riders, couples, family, or friends, wanting a foldable shared bike for beach or park rides. Not for solo cyclists or those needing a lighter, quicker-fold single bike.
Pros and cons
- Folds to 36.22 inches for easy trunk storage
- Dual disc brakes front and rear for safety
- 460 lb capacity fits two adult riders
- Front and rear racks include a built-in basket
- Steel frame adds weight versus aluminum tandems
- Only 6 speeds, limited for hilly terrain
- No stated frame weight or tire pressure rating
Performance notes
The 6-speed rear derailleur and dual front-and-rear disc brakes are standard cruiser-tandem components matched to the bike's steel frame weight rather than performance road parts. The four-fold mechanism reduces the bike to a 36.22-inch folded height, and the 460 lb rated capacity covers two average adult riders plus cargo in the front and rear racks.
