Overview
Meghna's 24-inch tandem folds at both front and rear frame sections, seats two riders with front and rear pedal stations, and pairs a 6-speed twist shifter with dual disc brakes for couples or family rides.
Storage runs deeper than most tandems, with a front cargo rack, rear rack, and middle storage shelf plus dual fenders. The saddle height adjusts to fit riders from 4'6" to 5'11", and the dual-fold frame packs down to 33.07 x 14.96 x 36.22 inches.
- Dual front-and-rear folding frame
- Front cargo rack, rear rack, and middle shelf
- 460 lb combined load capacity
- Fits riders 4'6" to 5'11"
Who it's for
Two riders wanting a foldable cruiser with more built-in cargo space than a basic tandem. Not for riders outside the stated 4'6" to 5'11" fit range or those riding solo.
Pros and cons
- Dual front-and-rear fold shrinks the packed size
- Front, rear, and middle racks add storage
- Dual fenders keep splash off riders' clothing
- Saddle height adjusts for riders 4'6" to 5'11"
- Iron frame is heavier than aluminum alternatives
- 6-speed range is modest for hilly routes
- Height fit excludes riders outside stated range
Performance notes
Twist-shift 6-speed gearing with a rear derailleur handles flat and rolling terrain, while front and rear disc brakes give both riders consistent stopping power. The iron frame folds in two places rather than one, which Meghna says shrinks the packed size to 33.07 x 14.96 x 36.22 inches, and the saddle height adjusts to fit riders from 4'6" to 5'11".
