Overview
A 100-foot lightweight garden hose built with a braided outer sheath over a 5-layer PTE inner tube, weighing about 4.7 lbs and rated for use from -4F to 176F. It ships with a 10-pattern spray nozzle and fittings sized for standard 3/4 inch faucets.
The seller's core claim is weight: at 4.7 lbs this hose is pitched as roughly half the weight of a typical hose the same length, which matters most when dragging 100 feet across a yard. The braided sheath and anti-expansion core are meant to address the kinking and ballooning that shorter-lived hoses develop after a season or two outdoors.
- 100 ft length, about 4.7 lbs total
- 5-layer PTE inner tube, braided outer sheath
- 10-in-1 adjustable spray nozzle
- Rated -4F to 176F for all-weather use
Who it's for
Fits anyone watering or cleaning across a larger yard where hose weight and kinking are the daily annoyance. Less relevant for a small patio or balcony where a 100-foot length is more hose than the space needs.
Pros and cons
- 4.7 lbs is light for a 100-foot hose
- 10-pattern nozzle included
- Fittings sized for standard 3/4 inch faucets
- Rated across a wide temperature range
- 100 feet may be more than small yards need
Performance notes
The braided fabric outer layer and anti-kink core are meant to keep water flow steady rather than ballooning or twisting under pressure, and the maker rates the hose for use across a wide temperature range from -4F to 176F. Fittings measure 3/8 inch ID and 5/8 inch OD, which the listing says fits standard 3/4 inch faucets, sprinklers, and nozzles. The included nozzle switches between 10 spray patterns from mist to jet.
