A small OLED TV with a fast refresh rate and variable refresh support, well suited to a desk or bedroom gaming setup. Its two channel speakers are modest, so a soundbar helps for movies.

Overview
Samsung fits a self lit OLED panel, an AI upscaling processor and a high refresh gaming mode into a compact forty two inch TV. It runs Tizen with AirPlay and Google Cast, and this bundle adds two HDMI cables, a setup guide and a protection plan.
High refresh, variable refresh and per pixel contrast in a small size make it a strong gaming screen for a desk or bedroom. The built in speakers are basic for its picture quality, and the bundled HDMI cables are an older standard than the TV supports.
Who it's for
Console and PC gamers at a desk, and bedroom viewers who want deep blacks, get a fast, compact screen. Families watching from a sofa far away will want a larger size.
Pros and cons
- Self lit OLED contrast
- High refresh with G-SYNC and FreeSync
- Four HDMI ports
- AirPlay and Google Cast
- Two channel speakers only
- Bundled HDMI cables are HDMI 2.0
- Peak brightness not listed
Performance notes
Each OLED pixel makes its own light, so black areas switch off fully and contrast holds in dark rooms. Motion clarity depends on the high refresh mode and a source that can feed it, such as a PC or current console.
