Overview
A built-in stand that rotates fully lets this iWIMIUS mini projector aim at walls or ceilings without a mount. Auto focus and auto vertical keystone square the image, and apps stream through its own store or browser.
Ceiling projection from a rotating stand makes it a natural fit for bedrooms and RVs. Brightness is low, and some apps run only through the web browser.
Who it's for
People watching in bed or camping get a flexible small projector. Family rooms with daylight need much higher brightness.
Pros and cons
- Rotating stand aims at ceilings
- Short throw ratio
- Dolby Audio speakers
- HDMI ARC to soundbars
- Some apps browser-only
- Remote batteries not included
Performance notes
Brightness is the limit: light spreads thinner as the screen grows, so large images need full darkness. Short throw lets it fill a wall from a nearby nightstand, and zooming out shrinks the picture digitally.
