Overview
Not an ink printer and not a handheld tape labeler, the Rongta thermal label printer handles shipping and small business labels. It prints from a phone over Bluetooth with the Rongta app or from a computer over USB, and arrives with labels and a holder.
Ink free printing with both app and USB options suits small sellers who ship from home. Key specs like resolution and print speed are missing, so performance claims cannot be checked.
Who it's for
Suits home businesses and side sellers who print a steady flow of shipping labels. Offices that need full page documents or color should use a regular printer.
Pros and cons
- No ink or toner needed
- Bluetooth printing from a phone
- USB printing from a computer
- Starter labels included
- Resolution not listed
- Print speed unstated
- Thermal labels only, no color
Performance notes
Thermal printing darkens heat sensitive labels directly, so print quality depends on the label stock and print head heat rather than ink. Connection choice shapes setup: Bluetooth needs the Rongta app, while USB needs the computer driver.
