A pressure-mounted gate for doorways and stairs that shuts itself and opens with one hand. The listing does not state a weight capacity or a gate height on its own.
A very tall pressure mounted gate for wide doorways and stairs, with extension kits in the box. The listing does not state a weight capacity or a walk through door, so check those before buying.
A narrow pressure mounted gate for tight stair and doorway openings, with a walk through door instead of a climb over frame. The listing does not state a weight capacity or the exact opening range, so measure the gap before ordering.
A sensible answer for a renter who wants the pet to come and go through the slider without cutting into anything. The flap is sized for smaller dogs, and taller pets need extensions that are not in the box.
A steel walk-through barrier with extensions in the box for doorways and stairs. The listing does not state a weight limit or the exact gap each extension adds, so measure before ordering.
A wall-mounted gate for a doorway or stair opening where a bar across the floor would be a trip hazard. The drill-mounted install is permanent hardware, so renters and anyone unwilling to put holes in the trim should look elsewhere.
A straightforward plastic pet door with a four way lock for a small dog or cat. The listing does not state a cutout template or the door thickness it fits, so measure before you cut.
A powered door for a medium dog that opens on its own and seals tight behind the pet, in a door up to a couple of inches thick. It is not a wall unit and it will not suit a larger dog.
A wide hardware mounted gate for a broad opening or a room divider, with panels that fold away when not in use. It is not a pressure fit gate, so the wall has to accept screws.
A freestanding aluminum barrier for small dogs that sets up without tools and folds away between uses. Opening width is not listed, so measure your gap before ordering.
A glass sliding door insert that lets a small dog pass without cutting a hole in the wall, as long as the frame height and door thickness match the listed range. The weight ceiling is low, so it suits small breeds only.
A programmable pet door that opens only for pets wearing a paired key, which suits households that want one animal in and another out. The door and the key both run on batteries, so plan for replacements.
A powered opening for large dogs that lets the pet trigger the door itself, set into a wall of the listed thickness range. Buyers with a thinner door or a small breed should look elsewhere.
A retractable mesh barrier that rolls out of the way when not in use, sized for wide openings at stairs, hallways and doorways. The listing does not name the mounting hardware or a weight limit, so check your wall and your pet before buying.
A sliding glass door insert for renters with giant breed dogs, sized to the taller track and rated for heavy animals. It only works on sliding glass doors, so hinged or wall openings need a different product.
A wall mounted electronic door for a household with a large dog and a thick exterior wall. The collar key is the only way in, so a pet without it stays outside.
