Overview
A bag of 12 youth practice baseballs from Rawlings with cork and rubber centers and synthetic leather covers, built for players 8 and under. The mesh carry bag keeps a dozen balls together for practice or casual games.
These are recreational-use balls, not official game balls, positioned for batting practice and backyard play rather than league competition. Raised seams on the synthetic cover keep the grip close to a real ball's feel for young players still learning to throw.
- 12 baseballs per bag
- Cork and rubber center construction
- Synthetic leather cover with raised seams
- Built for ages 8 and under
Who it's for
Suits parents and youth coaches outfitting practice for players 8 and under who need a batch of balls that can take repeated hits without buying a full official set. Not intended for older youth or adult play requiring regulation game balls.
Pros and cons
- Cork and rubber center feels like a regulation ball
- Raised seams help young players grip and throw
- Mesh bag makes the dozen easy to carry
- Recreational grade, not official league certified
- Sized for players 8 and under, not older youth or adult play
Performance notes
The solid cork and rubber center gives these balls a bounce and feel similar to a regulation baseball, while the synthetic leather cover and raised seams keep the grip consistent for young hands learning to throw. The mesh bag is meant for carrying and storage, not extended durability.
