A straightforward, tall single post rather than a full cat tree, worth considering where floor space is tight and the priority is scratching, not climbing or lounging.

Overview
A single-level, floor-mounted scratching post from SmartCat, standing 32 inches tall on a 16 by 16 inch wood base finished in beige. It ships with 2 screws for anchoring and is built for indoor use by cats of any life stage.
Its footprint and height suit cats that want to stretch fully upright rather than crouch to scratch, and the modern beige finish is meant to blend into a room rather than look like a pet accessory. Spot clean only, so it is not meant to be hosed down or machine washed.
- 16"L x 16"W x 32"H wood base and post
- Includes 2 mounting screws for floor anchoring
- Rated for all life stages and medium breed cats
- Beige, modern-style finish
Who it's for
Suits households with one or more indoor cats that need a stable, tall post to redirect scratching away from furniture. Less suited to owners wanting a multi-level cat tree or a post with hammocks, perches or toys, since this is a single-level post only.
Pros and cons
- Full 32 inch height for a full-body stretch and scratch
- Floor-mount screws included for added stability
- Modern beige finish blends with typical living room decor
- Single level only, no perches or hammocks
- Spot clean only, no machine or deep cleaning
Performance notes
The 16 by 16 inch wood base and floor-mount screws are meant to keep a 32 inch post from tipping when a cat leans full weight into a scratch. Being listed as spot clean only means the surface is not designed for regular washing, so placement away from muddy paws or litter tracking matters more over time.
